Run Club Pyramid Workout

Last week the Half Marathon crew mixed it up with the Fit and Fab group for Tuesdays Workout, which made for one of our biggest run club workouts in a long time! We took the group around a 2km loop in Riverbend doing a time based Pyramid workout of 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes and then repeating the intervals back down.  This is a great workout because it changes up both the pace being run during the intervals and the length of the intervals, very similar to a fartlek workout. As is typical with a summer workout, it was a hot one out there but the team did great. These hot workouts will pay off come the fall races!
