BackRoads x Hoka 800m Night

What a great evening for the BackRoads x Hoka 800m Night last week! 800m Night was fun event to earn a deal on your beer and have a chance to win a pair of Hoka shoes! Its also a great opportunity to test your limits over a less common distance of 800m. Hoka brought a couple demo sets of the popular Clifton 8 and the Carbon X2 for the runners to test out on their warm up and at the track for the race.

We had three big sections of 800m races plus a BackRoads vs. Hoka section for bragging rights. Everyone had a great race running hard to earn every cent off of the evening beverages. Hoka earned the bragging rights this year but the BackRoads runners were right on their heels! There were many comments on how awesome it was to have people cheering them on during a race, especially in the last 100m towards the finish line!

Some would say the best part of an 800m Night is the post race social in the BackRoads taproom. (Although we think the best part is seeing everyone push themselves over the 800m race!) The hard work has been done and the beer or kombucha has certainly been earned. Thank you everyone who participated in this year's 800m Night. We can’t wait to make next year's event even better!
