It is only natural that two backroad runners in southwestern Ontario have a passion for agriculture. Since the store taproom will be serving local craft beer we want to supply craft breweries with hops. One of our goals is to serve beer on tap brewed with hops grown on our farm.
The 2018 harvest of Cascade and Centennial hops was successful from our 1 acre yard we planted in 2017. All hops are pelletized and packaged in 11lbs vacuum sealed and nitrogen flushed bags. Contact Aaron at firstname.lastname@example.org for pricing and orders.
Cascade 2018: Alpha 6.51 Beta: 8.83
Centennial 2018: Alpha 10.3 Beta: 6.99
In 2018 we completed an expansion of our hop yard from 1 acre to 10 acres. The following varieties will be available in quantities after the 2019 harvest:
Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Magnum and Triple Pearl
Other varieties with limited availability until 2020 include:
Hallertua, Saaz, Ultra, Kent Golding, Galena and a Heritage Hop! (found near Emily's Oma and Opa's hunting camp in the Ottawa Valley).
