This lightweight neutral trainer is a great all-around shoe for the serious runner, and will take you from the road to the track and back again with confidence. Versatile enough for training runs and races of any length, the 880 has just the right combination of responsiveness, cushioning and durability.

Version 8 features New Balance’s TruFuse cushioning material in the midsole, with some slight modifications to improve responsiveness while preserving comfort overall. The seamless engineered mesh upper allows breathability and comfort (and no chafing), while locking down a secure-feeling fit. The blown-rubber, nicely grippy outsole pods have been slightly updated to improve heel-to-toe transition.
