Marathon Running Program Summer 2023
The Full Marathon program is perfect for those looking to step up to the marathon distance or those who are experienced with the marathon and are looking to improve their speed over the distance. This program is designed for those who can currently run the half marathon distance (21km) for a “long” run at the time of registration. The Full Marathon program will start on Monday, July 3rd, 2023, at 6:00 pm and will prepare you to race a marathon in the Fall.
- 16 week Training Program provided for each participant.
- $125.00 plus tax
- NEW group leader: Josh Lumani
- Monday Workouts: 6:00 pm – repeats/intervals, tempo, etc.
- Wednesday Tempo Work: 6:00pm (marathon specific pace work)
- OR Wednesday Social Runs: 6:00 pm – varied distances.
- Saturday Long Runs: 7:00 am – varied distances (Early due to summer heat)
- Optional Goal Marathon: Toronto Waterfront Marathon, October 15th (16 weeks from start of the program).
- Instructors and helpers will offer outstanding support.
- Routes provided.
- Facebook private group for important communication.
- Expert advice for running and gear, including shoes.
- Social events and guest speakers.
