BackRoads Beer
While we have always been devoted to keeping a broad and unique selection of Ontario craft beers flowing in our taproom, we just couldn’t resist dipping our toes into the world of brewing ourselves. With some help from our friends at Jobsite Brewing, we’ve been refining recipes that we’re excited to share with the community. We’ll always have plenty of new brews from around the province pouring in the taproom, plus the new addition of our own beer as well!
Spring Fed IPA
A citrusy IPA that leans toward the New England style, with just the right amount of elegant bitterness and haze for days. Brewed and dry-hopped using Cascade and Centennial hops grown on our farm. Try our flagship IPA on tap or take it to-go from our bottle shop!
BackRoads Light
An easy drinking, light ale, brewed to be refreshingly smooth. BackRoads light promises to deliver a thirst quenching experince for those seeking a crushable beverage, perfect for any occasion. BackRoads x HOKA Golden Ale
This Golden Ale perfectly balances smooth, refreshing flavours while still encompassing a light hop touch from the BackRoads Hops farm. Brewed to celebrate this year’s BackRoads x HOKA 800m night, where your speed dictates the price of your beer!
Our Hops
With our second business being a hops farm, making an IPA as our first official BackRoads beer just made sense. With the goal of having a brew that encapsulates plenty of hop flavour while maintaining a high degree of citrus notes and aroma, Cascade and Centennial were natural choices. Shop BackRoads Hops
Brew Ontario
Being involved in Ontario craft beer for many years now, we know the entire industry revolves around the importance of supporting local. That’s why our taproom highlights beers from as many local breweries as possible, and why it was a no-brainer for us to feature the BrewON logo on our cans. The presence of the BrewON logo signifies a brewery that has taken authentic steps to source their ingredients from local farmers.
