BackRoads Marathon Running Program Winter 2024
The Full Marathon program is perfect for those looking to step up to the marathon distance or those who are experienced with the marathon and who are looking to improve their speed over the distance. This program is designed for those who can currently run the half marathon distance (21km) for a “long” run at the time of registration. The Full Marathon program will start on Monday, January 8th, 2024, at 6:00 pm and will prepare you to race a marathon in the Spring.
- 16 week Training Program provided for each participant.
- $155.00 plus tax (no discount codes accepted)
- Group leader: Josh Lumani
- Monday Workouts: 6:00 pm – repeats/intervals, tempo, etc.
- Wednesday Tempo Work: 6:00pm (marathon specific pace work)
- OR Wednesday Social Runs: 6:00 pm – varied distances.
- Saturday Long Runs: 8:00 am – varied distances
- Optional Goal Marathon: Toledo Glass City Marathon April 28th (16 weeks from start of the program).
- 16 week training plan provided for Boston runners (April 15th)
- Instructor offers outstanding support.
- Routes provided.
- Facebook private group for important communication.
- Expert advice for running and gear, including shoes.
- Social events and guest speakers.
